CUTSHEETS / LEGAL
Terms of Use
Clear terms for your subscription, your saved work, and your use of Cutsheets.
At a glance
- Verify every cut sheet before fabrication or installation.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions provide the same individual-plan features; yearly billing is one upfront payment.
- Subscriptions renew unless canceled through the store where you purchased them.
- Subscription expiry does not delete your saved projects. Viewing, exporting, sharing, and backing up saved work remain available in the app.
This summary is a guide. The terms below provide the details.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of Cutsheets, provided by Bonnefide LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including its subscription features. Cutsheets helps you create, organize, and share field cut sheets for sheet-metal fabrication. Cutsheets is preparing for public release; these terms also cover test versions. Subscription provisions apply only where purchases are offered.
By using Cutsheets after these terms become effective, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must have authority to accept these terms, including permission to use any employer or customer information you enter. If you already have a subscription, stopping use or deleting the app does not cancel it; follow Section 4.
Applicable app-store terms also apply. For an Apple App Store download, the software license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate custom license is provided through the store. These terms do not replace that license or override mandatory store rules or rights provided by law.
2. Responsible use and fabrication checks
Cutsheets is a documentation tool, not a substitute for qualified design, engineering, code review, shop standards, or professional judgment. Drawings and generated documents may be schematic and must not be used as a scale drawing unless expressly identified as such.
Before ordering materials, fabricating, or installing, independently check dimensions, units, geometry, orientation, quantities, connection details, allowances, notes, and project requirements. Resolve discrepancies with the appropriate qualified person. Do not rely on the app alone for safety-critical decisions.
Use the app lawfully. Do not upload or share information you are not authorized to use, redistribute the app without permission, interfere with its operation, or bypass purchase verification. Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law and the applicable software license.
3. Subscription plans, prices, and trials
Where subscriptions are available, Cutsheets Individual offers monthly and yearly plans with the same individual-plan features. An active subscription enables creation and editing of projects, batches, sheets, and fittings. A yearly plan is billed upfront for a full year, not in monthly installments. An individual plan is not a separately managed team-seat plan; applicable app-store usage rules still apply.
The app shows the store-provided subscription price, billing period, and any confirmed eligible trial. Review the store's confirmation screen for the final charge, currency, and any applicable taxes before purchasing. Payment is charged through your Apple or Google account, as applicable.
A 14-day free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers. Eligibility is determined by the store, and switching between monthly and yearly plans does not promise another trial. If you accept a trial, it converts to the paid subscription at the price and billing interval shown at checkout unless you cancel in time. If no trial is offered, the paid subscription starts as shown at checkout.
Availability and offers may differ by store. Future price changes are subject to applicable law and the store's notice and consent requirements. Your renewal price is shown in your store account. Do not assume a price offered to a new subscriber changes your existing plan.
4. Renewals, cancellation, and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period unless you cancel through the store before its cancellation deadline. For an Apple trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. Check your store account for the specific renewal date and applicable terms.
- Apple: Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and select Cutsheets. Apple cancellation instructions.
- Google Play, where available: Open Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and select Cutsheets. Google Play cancellation instructions.
Deleting the app, deleting your local data, or contacting support does not by itself cancel store billing. After canceling renewal, paid access normally continues until the store-reported expiration date. Trial cancellation, refunds, revocations, or payment problems may change that date or end access earlier under the store's rules.
Cancellation does not automatically refund previous charges. Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and the relevant store's policies. For Apple purchases, use Apple's refund process. For Google Play purchases, consult Google Play's refund process or contact us for help. Nothing in these terms takes away a refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
5. Saved work and restoring access
When your subscription expires, creating or editing paid content is restricted. You can still view, export, share, and back up saved projects and sheets in the app. Expiry alone does not delete them. This is not a promise that data can be recovered after you delete it, lose your device, or remove the app.
Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple or Google account used for the purchase. Restoring a subscription does not restore local project files; those require your own compatible backup. Purchases do not automatically transfer between Apple and Google stores. An internet connection may be needed to confirm or restore subscription access; offline verification is limited.
A future separately priced feature is included only if it is expressly part of your plan. These terms do not remove features or rights you have already purchased.
6. Your content, privacy, and backups
You retain your rights in the project information and content you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy and for having permission to use and share it. Bonnefide LLC retains its rights in the app, its design, templates, and branding, subject to any applicable third-party licenses.
Project data is stored locally, and Cutsheets does not automatically send your project details, drawings, or notes to Bonnefide LLC or RevenueCat. When you share a PDF or backup, you choose its destination. Our Privacy Policy describes local storage, sharing, support communications, and subscription processing.
Keep independent backups of important work and check them before changing devices or uninstalling the app. Automatic recovery copies on the same device are not a substitute for an independent backup. Deleting an item does not delete copies already exported or retained elsewhere.
7. Availability, updates, and beta versions
We may release fixes and improvements. The app, operating system, store services, or subscription verification may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output, compatibility with every device, or any unannounced future feature.
Beta and TestFlight versions may change or stop being available and do not promise permanent free access. Keep backups before installing test builds. Changes remain subject to applicable law, store rules, and rights associated with purchases you have already made.
8. Warranties and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable software license, Cutsheets is provided as available without an additional promise that it will meet every project requirement or that every output will be correct. This does not exclude warranties, duties, refunds, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class-action rights, or select an exclusive court. Your rights under applicable law remain in effect.
9. Changes to these terms
When we update these terms, we will publish the revised text and its effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app or another appropriate channel and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have or replace store-required subscription notices.
